Three Restaurants in Waco. One Family.

The Citrano family has been part of the Waco restaurant scene for decades. What started as a single neighborhood spot grew over time, but the approach never really changed. Take care of people. Serve high-quality food. Do it right, every time.

That’s the foundation behind all three restaurants.

George’s on Speight has been a Waco staple since 1930. It’s the kind of place people grow up with, come back to, and never really forget. Then came the George’s Hewitt location in 2010, built to carry that same experience a little further out without changing what made it work.

And the food is part of that story. The kind people don’t need to look up before ordering. Chicken fried steak done right. Crazy wings that have built a following. A cold Big O’ beer that just feels like Waco.

Over the years, George’s became more than just a restaurant. It became part of people’s routines. Game days, birthdays, after games, and long-standing traditions that still show up today.

Jorge’s Cantina opened in 2024 as the next step for the family. Not a departure, just something new built on the same roots.

Things feel a little more settled here. You sit down, order a drink, and ease into it. The menu leans into bold, coastal flavors. Fresh seafood, Mexican favorites, and drinks that keep the table going.

You’ll still see familiar faces. George’s regulars who now have a seat at Jorge’s. New guests who don’t stay new for long. It all blends together in a way that feels natural.

As the newest addition, Jorge’s Cantina carries that forward. The same high-quality food, professional service, and value the Citrano family has been known for, now in a new setting.
