A Night with Tequila Corrido at Jorge's
On Tuesday, February 3rd, Jorge’s hosted our very first Tequila Dinner, and it turned into one of those nights you wish you could rewind and do again.
We teamed up with Tequila Corrido to create an evening centered on great tequila, intentional pairings, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to stay awhile. Guests were welcomed with samples of Tequila Corrido upon arrival, giving everyone the chance to experience each expression on its own before seeing how it came to life in cocktails throughout the night.
The four-course dinner was built to complement the tequila without overpowering it. We started with fresh ceviche, light and vibrant, followed by an Ancho Caesar salad that’s completely crave-worthy, with bold flavor and a rich, savory finish. For the main course, guests enjoyed carne asada and shrimp brochette, served alongside chimichurri rice and borracha black beans. The evening wrapped up with flan for dessert, a classic finish that hit all the right notes.
Each course was paired with a handcrafted Jorge’s cocktail featuring Tequila Corrido. These pairings showcased how versatile their tequila can be, whether sipped neat or mixed into something a little more playful. The conversations flowed easily as guests compared pours, talked flavors, and shared favorites across the table.
What stood out most was the energy in the room. Laughter, raised glasses, and the shared experience of trying something new together made the night feel special. It was everything we love about hosting events at Jorge’s.
